questions & answers.
Whats the BCCF facility like?
Beer City CrossFit has over 3,000 sq. ft. of floor space, available outdoor training space, high industrial ceilings, large bay doors, 2 bathrooms, 1 shower and lots of equipment! Can I start now?
Absolutely – there’s no better time! Be sure to check out our Plans & Pricing
Can I bring a friend?
Yes! We love visitors – local and from out of town. Please check out our Visitors & Drop-Ins page to have them register accordingly!
Do I need to reserve classes?
Yes. Class attendance is capped to ensure safety and the proper class management. We require our members to pre-register for classes through our WODIFY tracking system.
Members who reserve a spot for a class will have priority over someone else who did not pre-register.
Do I need to get into shape first if I've never done CrossFit?
No. Our training program is designed to help ease you into the CrossFit world, and meet anybody at their current ability level. All of our daily workouts will be scaled to anyone’s ability. If you can’t do part/all of the workout, coaches will modify in a way to get you the workout you want from the day, and help you reach new ability levels in your fitness journey.
Lockers + Showers
Yes to both! We have an area for your personal items while at the facility, and one available shower. The shower is first-come-first-come after class. Please be considerate of those with tight schedules.
You must take all of your items home with you each day. Any items left will be placed in the lost and found, and Lost and found. Lost and found items are donated periodically.
Also, please keep track of your valuables. We are not responsible for damage, loss or theft.
Child Care
We do not currently have any official child care offerings. You may bring your children to the gym. There are some things we do ask of you…
- Please make sure you/your child pick up ANY messes made
- If your child is old enough to sit alone we ask they remain in the lobby. There are too many potential distractions and liabilities within the gym space to have kids in it while athletes workout.
- If your child is not at an appropriate age to be unattended in the lobby area and must be in the gym with you, we ask that they be as stationary as possible – in a playpen, or seat etc. that allows them to not interfere with an athlete, or possibly be injured themselves.
- If your child is sick in any way, please do not bring them
- You are responsible for your children at all times, we are not responsible for any injuries, etc that may occur.
Pets/Animals
So many members of our staff and community are animal lovers, just like you may be! However, we do kindly ask that you leave your pets at home.
